2 Year Olds (Guppies)
About The Program
This class, especially designed for two-year olds, meets twice weekly for 2 ¼ hours. It introduces toddlers to a classroom environment. The class provides opportunities to explore the wonder of God’s world, cooperate with friends, and participate in fun activities as part of an age appropriate, theme-based curriculum. The concepts of sharing, being part of a group and participating in teacher led activities are introduced and explored. The classroom is designed especially for toddlers and allows for both diaper changing and potty training depending on the need of the student.
AGE REQUIREMENT: Two years old by December 1, 2022
CLASS SIZE: 8 children with a Teacher and an Aide
CLASS OPTIONS: 2 day class ~ 9:30 -11:45 AM (Begins in September)
Meet the Teachers
Laura Mayes
Lead Teacher for the Guppies (Two-year old Class)
Mrs. Mayes' has worked at Ready, Set, Grow since 2013. She has an A.A.S. degree from Monroe Community College and has several years experience working in childcare. Mrs. Mayes is energetic and fun. She enjoys watching movies, reading, playing games with her two sons and making people laugh. “My favorite part of working at RSG is that the kids are so sweet and always put a smile on my face. I love their eagerness to learn and play.”
C Cyndi Cyndi Warner
Teacher's Aide for the Guppies (Two-year old Class)
Mrs. Warner is the teacher's aide in the two-year-old class at Ready, Set, Grow! She really enjoys children in this age group, when everything is a new discovery. She feels honored to be able to teach them. Mrs. Warner holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography. She enjoys spending time with her family and has two children who both attended RSG. She is energetic, playful and caring. She loves gardening, cooking, hiking and being in nature.
